Acne-Prone & Congested Skin
Juice Beauty GREEN APPLE® Peel Pregnancy ($45)
I think we’re all guilty of over-exfoliating our skin at some point. When it comes to skincare, I’m extremely picky about what exfoliator I use on my skin. I often don’t like trying out new exfoliators because I have sensitive skin and many exfoliators are more aggressive than you think. This green apple peel by Juice Beauty is one of the most gentle exfoliators I’ve ever used and is still effective at removing dead skin cells, clearing clogged pores, and brightening dark spots. I love that it’s made with all natural ingredients, so it feels safe to use 2-3 times per week. And for my mama’s out there, this is the only peel I used during my pregnancy!
Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask ($55)
This Sulfur Acne mask has become my go-to when I’m breaking out and don’t have time to get a facial! Since this product is a stronger treatment that contains 10% sulfur, I only use it when my skin is in desperate need of a major detox. It really helps clear up breakouts and also prevent new breakouts and blemishes from developing. This mask also contains tea tree oil, Manuka oil, tumeric, clay, and neem which are all important acne-fighting ingredients that also help bring soothing benefits to the skin. So although 10% sulfur seems like it would dry out your skin, the other ingredients balance it out so your skin isn’t left feeling drenched. Another trick I like to do to get the most out of this face mask is using it as a spot treatment when I get a breakout, I like to leave it on overnight and that usually does the trick!
ELEMIS Dynamic Resurfacing Gel Mask ($78.50)
If you’re looking for a great anti-ageing exfoliating mask, this face mask by Elemis will is one of my favorites! It has a gel-like formula, so it feels really refreshing and smooth on the skin all while re-texturizing your skin’s surface and balancing sebum oil levels. After each use, my skin feels really refreshed, refined and smooth as ever. I usually use this mask twice per week.

Herbivore Brighten Pineapple Enzyme + Gemstone Instant Glow Mask ($48)
Time to get that glow on! This stuff is Instagram-famous for a reason ha! This Pineapple Enzyme + Gemstone Instant Glow Mask does exactly what it says..after just 15-20 short minutes, you’ll find your skin feeling more illuminated, smooth and glowy. The formula contains several brightening ingredients like pineapple enzyme, rice powder, and rose water that not only illuminate your skin, but also work as a gentle exfoliant to leave your skin feeling smooth. I’ve always been a big fan of Herbivore for using the finest all-natural ingredients in their products, I’m talking sulfate free, paraben free, cruelty free. I’ve always been a big fan of Herbivore for their focus on organic, all-natural, high quality ingredients and products that are made from scratch in small batches in the US.

LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask ($25)
Who doesn’t love a mask that you can sleep in?! Give your moisturizer a break by using a luxe water sleeping mask! If your skin is in desperate need of hydration and your moisturizer just isn’t doing it, I’d recommend using a sleeping mask at least 2-3 times per week! My favorite time to use sleeping masks is after flights because my skin tends to look more dull and this is the only trick to get my skin back to looking healthy and well-rested! This mask has a very lightweight gel-like texture that doesn’t feel oily or stick so you don’t worry about ruining your sheets and pillowcases. Just make sure to wait 5 minutes to let the mask soak into your skin before bed. Your mornings will be that much better! You’ll wake up feeling like your skin just had a tall glass of water, feeling more radiant and hydrated. Just wash the mask off with lukewarm water and there you go, easy!
Babor 3D Hydro Gel Face Mask ($40 for 4-pack)
For my sheet mask lovers, this is one of my cult favorites!! I’ve always been a big fan of Babor skincare products. I love how refreshing this gel face mask feels on my skin! For those of you who frequently use sheet masks, I’m sure you come across those masks that are really slippery and tend to slip off your face. A big bonus of using hydro gel face masks is that they stay put once applied! You’ll find that this mask perfectly molds to the contours of your face so you can multi-task all you want without having to worry about it slipping off. After just 15 minutes, your skin instantly feels more refreshed, de-puffed, and radiant! After removing, I like to massage the remaining residue into my skin and then follow with my serum and moisturizer to lock everything in. Another thing I like to do with this mask is pop it in the fridge for 5-10 minutes before using it to make the cooling effect even stronger!
Lancome Advanced Genifique Hydrogel Melting Sheet Mask ($15 per mask)
Another hydrogel face mask I’m currently loving is Lancome’s Advanced Genifique Hydrogel Sheet Mask. This sheet mask is much more than the hydration fix you’re looking for. It’s pre-soaked in a serum-enriched formula that contains Bifidus extract which helps to strengthen the skin’s moisturize barrier. After just 10 minutes, your skin instantly appears more radiant, plumped, smooth and healthy! Although $15 is pricy for a mask you can only use once, you have to remember each mask is drenched in Lancôme Advanced Génifique formula so just using this mask once a week delivers all the nutrients your skin needs.
Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Memory Sleep Mask ($95)
If you’re looking to splurge on a luxe sleeping mask, then this it! Since this mask is on the pricy side, I tend to only use it once per week when I’m doing a lil pamper sesh ;) And did I mention it smells amazing?! This mask contains prickly pear, green ginger and mugwort extracts which are known to moisturize and restore dull/dehydrated skin. Not only does it hydrate your skin, but it also contains important anti-ageing properties that work while you sleep. So think of this sleeping mask as a 2-in-1! It’s miracle ingredient, Winged Kelp extract contains omega-3, -5, and -9 fatty acids which helps with tightening your skin and producing natural collagen.
Skin INC Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask ($75)
If you’re skin is very parched and lacks lustre, you’ll love this deepsea hydrating mask by Skin Inc! This mask can be used as a sleeping mask or rinse-off mask and delivers the same results. You guys know I love a good multi-benefit mask, and this one is a triple-treat ;) It contains soya bean extracts, hyaluronic acid, and Okinawa deepsea water (fancy I know) to help brighten your complexion, clarify and nourish your skin. I have the travel size version (pictured above) which is perfect for taking on-the-go!
