After a long anticipated album release, the Queen has finally dropped her new album, Lemonade.

As we all know by now, the hype surrounding Lemonade is outrageous. Beyonce seemed to make this her most powerful and personal album yet. Beyonce has long been one of my biggest inspirations, she really is the QUEEN! But being one of the world’s most famous role models and respected artists, the content of this album was VERY surprising to all of us. A majority of the tracks are about the betrayal and infidelity of her husband, Jay Z. Listening to the album from beginning to end is overpowering, you can feel the pain and rage in her voice, but it’s also some of the rawest vocals I’ve heard from her in a long time. Although there is so much pain and heartbreak in the album, Beyoncé still comes out stronger than ever. This is one of the first albums where she really pushes the boundaries of her sound and lyrics.

Not only is the album breaking headlines, but Beyoncé’s Lemonade film shows her running around smashing things with a baseball bat and throwing her wedding ring at the camera. Clearly- Beyonce is not a woman to be messed with.
