Chicwear. I can’t get enough. So simple, so easy. Elevated streetwear. I have always been a fan of the scene, but I’m also a girl that needs her heels. Sticking to black and white can keep this look in the NOW (more Rihanna) and not the THEN (less Kriss-Kross). Also, mind the waistline, especially if you are petite, layer thin layers, show some leg, and a great structured bag can keep this look polished.
Here I am wearing my favorite new crop top by L’Animal over a multi-tiered black and white NastyGal skirt. I layered a thin, mesh Ark&Co jacket and then my leather BCBG cropped jacket over that. To keep the look casual, I tied a cotton and leather Zara long sleeve around my waist which also comes in handy if I happen to need another layer as the weather dips at night (such a ridiculous statement to my east coast homegirls, I know). Paired this look with my green, faux snakeskin booties from TopShop and Antigona bag.
Keep it classy San Diego.
