When my chances to get my hands on the ladies’ Isabel Marant pieces were looking bleak, I decided to check out the kid’s department. Marant ‘s line for H&M extended to both the men’s and children’s departments which were completely empty of course (unlike the women’s department where literally 100’s of women were lined up and salivating for their chance to cross the ropes into the exclusive section where only women that had camped out for a wristband for an appointment time could cross). The selection in the children’s department was adorable, more affordable and to my surprise, fit! I snagged these printed, cropped jeans at only $50! So if you’re petite, never rule out the children’s department!
For this look, I paired the kiddie pants with a long white tee from NastyGal, a white blazer from TopShop, and these nude, pointy-toe pumps from Steve Madden to dress up the look a bit and ensure it would not look as if I was wearing my niece’s jeans! “I like my money right where I can see it…hanging in my closet!” -Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City)
Hope you all had fun Black Friday shopping!
