Goodmorning babes!! This season, plaid is having its moment…over and over again. I’ll be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of plaid on plaid..it’s a bit too overwhelming for me!! But I do love wearing this classic print in small doses like a blazer or mini skirt! I’m obsessed with this plaid blazer from Majorelle because it adds that cool-girl vibe on a classic print and the fit is really form-fitting and feminine. Plaid is such a strong print, so the more form-fitting and structured, the better. I personally love the juxapoisiton between plaid and denim; it tones down the plaid and makes it feel a little more casual and easily transitions from the office to the street. To take this look up a notch, I turned my Chloe Faye wallet bag into a belt bag/fanny pack! Belt bags aka updated fanny packs aren’t going anywhere this season, but as chic as they are..I have’t splurged on one just yet. If you’re in the same lane, but still want to test out the trend, I would try to work with what you have in your wardrobe first! This Chloe bag happens to be the perfect shape for a belt bag, so I simply tied the chain around my waist, tucked it into my belt hoop and voila..belt bag on a budget ;) To finish off the look, I wore my favorite suede baker cap by Lack of Color and silk booties by Tony Bianco.
Obsessed with this rich burgundy plum..it adds such a pretty pop of color to a neutral outfit!
