Happy almost Friday lovelies!!! I’ve had a super long week preparing for the final reveal of my custom closet!! For those of you who have been following along on IG stories, LA Closet Design has been doing all the installs for our second bedroom this week and the room is finally coming to life! When we first moved into this apartment, we wanted to make the second bedroom into a lounge/office space but soon after I realized I had run out of space for all my clothes, accessories, shoes etc. So all my stuff and packages started to accumulate in the second bedroom..and it turned into what we called the “junk room” (lol my IG stories fam knows what I’m talking about here!) I’ve always dreamt of having a custom closet room in my home, somewhere where I can display all my favorite pieces, play dress-up and glam at the same time. Especially being in the fashion and beauty space, it’s so important for me to have my own oasis where I can feel inspired and creative to make more fun and interesting content for you guys!!
Lisa, Karen and the rest of the team have gone above and beyond to make my closet dreams come true!! I’ve been so impressed every step of the way, from the initial renderings to every tiny detail she put into this. I knew I wanted a space that was elegant, bright, minimalistic, and mostly white with silver finishes to match the rest of my apartment. It was perfect timing because Z Gallerie had just finished my apartment makeover and I’m so happy we saved the second bedroom for something else! Lisa knew exactly what I wanted and put my vision into action immediately. She is such a boss lady!!
Our second bedroom is a bit smaller so I really wanted to include mirrors to open up the space. I love how she worked in modern and glam accents like the fur stool, crystal chandelier, and wallpaper! Also in love with my new sheer white draperies from Galaxy Draperies!! They really tie all the elements of the room together and the fabric is so luxurious and dreamy in person. Galaxy also did all the draperies for the rest of my apartment during the Z Gallerie Makeover and I was so impressed with their work, so I knew I wanted them back for more!
And can we talk about this vanity space?! Ever since I started getting into beauty and Youtube, I’ve always wanted to have a vanity space where I can organize all my make-up and shoot Youtube videos!! Now that this has become a reality, I am taking full advantage and shooting A LOT of new and exciting content, so make sure you guys are subscribed to my channel :)
Shoe envy <3 So pretty I could just stare (and not touch) haha!! I’m so excited to finally have all my shoes and handbags organized like this!
I put this mood board together with the inspo images Lisa and I collected from Pinterest! I’m a huge fan of Pinterest, especially because I’m always thinking of fun and exciting content for you guys :) If you guys don’t already follow me on Pinterest, you can click here to follow and see all my boards, from streetwear, travel, interior design, to insta-worthy food! For more inspiration, make sure you guys check out Lisa’s personal blog, Closetphile and see the inspo behind her design process! You can find other closet makeovers, furniture picks, and tips from Lisa herself on how to make small spaces work etc.
Lastly, here are the furniture and decor pieces that we picked out for the closet! I’m in love with the velvet tufted ottoman, I wanted to decorate it with a couple of white magnolia fur pillows to make it super comfy! And I’m obsessed with the vintage Chanel photograph Lisa picked out for one of the walls along with another one of Kate Moss which I’ll save for the final reveal! I’ll still be adding a few personal touches to the room like fresh flowers, pretty coffee table/fashion books, diptique candles and some organizational containers for my make-up! Luckily I saved some chic desk accessories from my old office that can double up as cute decor for my new vanity.
Tomorrow the team will be doing all the finishing touches and we will be filming the final reveal!! Can’t wait to finally share my dream closet with all of you! For now, hope you found some inspo and custom closet design ideas from this post :)
