I’m back with my L’Oréal fam shooting something very exciting we will be unveiling very soon, so stay tuned! Since we’ve landed it’s been so cold and gloomy here, so today I’m taking this opportunity to share my favorite ways to wear winter whites with you!

There’s something about layering in white that looks so chic, cozy and appealing. I’m constantly updating my wardrobe, but my white classic pieces are the ones that remain timeless and I know I’ll continue wearing them for many years. While summer whites are all about breezy dresses, white chiffon shirts and cropped denim, winter whites are always more appealing to me. I love wearing white long coats, cozy sweaters, and denim.

I’ve put together a list of 5 ways to wear your winter whites this season, with all the shoplinks you need to find your favorite items!

1 | Combine Different Shades and Textures

Amp up your look by wearing cream, beige or off-white pieces together. You can even try layering different textures like adding a suede jacket or wool sweater which adds dimension to your look. The perfect outfit for me would be white denim with a ribbed knit and cream suede moto jacket- layering these textures will really play up your look and make it more eye-catching!

2 | Keep It Simple

If you’re really going for a head-to-toe white monochromatic look, then keep it simple! I always go with a pair of white jeans, white-tee or blouse and nude heels. Make sure you stick with one type of silhouette and combine similar fabrics. If you’re feeling casual, opt for a pair of white sneakers to keep your style effortless and cozy.

3 | Wear Contrasting Tones

Obsessed with this look that Kendall Jenner wore on her way back from a Chanel fashion show in Paris. The blouse and trousers are so simple, classic and perfectly tailored to her body. She played up this look by adding a bold red lip and contrasting tones like her black sunglasses, bag and silver loafers. I love how minimalistic she kept this look, just a few contrasting accessories can add such edge and dimension to your outfit!

4 | Wear Tailored Pieces

Whether your going out to a brunch or date night, wearing white tailored pieces will make your style look sleek, elegant and polished..yes always!! I love how Alessandra played up the sexiness of her suit by choosing a plunging neckline and adding a belt to accentuate her waist. Although her trousers fit a bit loosely, she’s already showing the right amount of skin without being overly sexy. To give your look proportion and balance, wear a loose-fitted blouse tucked into slim pants or vice versa.

5 | Add a Pop of Color

Sometimes wearing all one tone or texture can make your look a bit flat, so adding some pops of color in your accessories or shoes can make your look more playful. Red and turquoise are two of my favorite colors to add in an all-white ensemble because they are really bold and eye-catching ! Just make sure to add small accents of color such as a clutch, statement necklace, earrings, or heels and you’re good to go!
